This blog explores my passion to see and experience places all over the world. The value of an experience is a greater gift than an object because you can never loose the memories you've made.

My roots for traveling
My mother was a flight attendant at continental airlines for 10 years and was able to see more of the world than the normal human eye. Back in the 1990's, the perks of working on an airline meant being able to wait stand by for any flight you wanted, and if there was enough room, you were getting on it last minute. Another perk, was first class seating which my older sister got a bit to comfortable with. Not only was it a perk to fly first class, but to just hop on a plane to Hawaii for the weekend, or to just go to Switzerland to pick up some chocolate for somebody's birthday present is also pretty cool. Over the years I have heard endless stories about what benefits she got from the places she traveled. Sharing the same passion as her, I plan to travel a lot more in my future.

so where have you already been? whats next on your list? lets get the content flowing!
ReplyDeleteWhat are some of the perks now? I think it would be awesome to do that as well, just traveling from country to country, anywhere you want in the world. It would be nice to see the world. As Kevin said, maybe you could include a list of places you want to go, or maybe a map. What other jobs in the airline industry has perks like this? Is flying your passion or being a flight attendant a step to help you reach your goal?
ReplyDeleteAlso, maybe make the layout of the page a little bit more exciting? It's pretty exciting to travel the world so I feel like this blog should catch your eye a little more. Maybe a link to or of pictures and places you want to go could be interesting.
