Island Time

When I was ten years old,  my family of six took a nine day vacation to the Caribbean. We chartered a boat which we stayed on during our time there. The neat part about staying on a boat was that my dad could drive the boat to whatever part of the Caribbean we felt like staying in. We went to Tortola, St. John and a lot of places in between that could only be accessed by boat. We got to see both the US and the British Virgin Islands. It was a great experience because I got the most out of the area.

TIP: If possible, when traveling the Caribbean, do a lot of your travels on a boat. You get to see more of the area and it saves money.

Cane Garden Bay was my favorite place of all the places that my family traveled. The beach was beautiful and I got my hair braided on the beach which was one of my goals going into that trip.

This is a picture of me and my 3 siblings snorkeling off the beach in St. John.

This is a picture of me and my mom on the bow of the boat that we stayed on.
